What does Azora cost?
$29 per user per month billed annually, or $35 billed monthly — one plan, every module included, no per-module fees. Read-only viewer seats are unlimited and free forever; only editors pay, with a 5-editor-seat minimum at GA. Today Azora is in open beta and free, and teams provisioned during the beta lock $20 per user per month (annual) for 24 months from GA. At GA there's also a 30-day full-feature trial. No surprise conversion, and no card on file during the beta.
Is there more than one product plan?
No. During open beta every team uses the complete platform with no caps. At GA everyone lands on the same $29/editor plan. Enterprise adds implementation, validation, self-hosting, and support services—not a different product—and beta teams carry their $20/editor lock for 24 months.
Does the plan include every commercial solution?
Yes. Every tenant gets every commercial solution. Enterprise services add SSO, self-hosting, validation help, and dedicated support; they do not unlock separate product modules. No per-module fees, ever.
What does "self-host" actually mean?
The same Azora codebase runs on your VPS. We provide a deploy script, schema migrations, and ongoing updates. You hold the database. You hold the encryption keys. We never see your data. Common reasons to self-host: data residency requirements, regulated industries with internal IT policies, or just preference. Available on Enterprise as a flat annual site license, quoted by sales.
Is there a non-profit or academic discount?
Verified non-profits, accredited academic institutions, and open-source projects get preferential terms on the published rates. Contact us with your verification documents and we'll note it on your account during the beta.
What happens to my data if I leave?
Your tenant is suspended on request. Data is retained for 30 days in case of reactivation. After 30 days, the tenant row is deleted with ON DELETE CASCADE — every record carrying your account_id is purged in the same transaction. Tenant data export is available on request today (we run it for you); self-service CSV-per-table export ships Q3 2026.
Can I pay annually or by invoice?
Yes — $29/user/month is the annually billed rate; monthly billing is $35/user/month. Annual billing and invoiced billing ship Q3 2026 alongside SSO/SAML, ready for when GA pricing takes effect. Contact us if your team needs a specific arrangement.
Why is your pricing so much simpler than competitors'?
Because complex pricing is for hiding things. A typical stack bolts a QMS plugin, a time-tracking plugin, and a docs tool onto a project tracker — each with its own per-seat line and its own bill. Azora is one codebase, one database, one team — one price with every module included and no per-module fees. That's why it can stay simple — it isn't eight acquired companies stitched together.
