The questions we keep getting.
Can I switch between tiers?
Yes — billing changes take effect at the next cycle. During open beta, all tiers are uncapped while we finalize tier-limit enforcement (Q3 2026).
Do all modules really come with every tier?
Yes. We don't gate modules — every tenant gets all 8 from day one. The differentiation is on limits (users, records, storage), automation, and enterprise features (SSO, self-host). This is intentional: nothing is more frustrating than discovering the feature you need is locked behind a tier upgrade after you've structured your team workflow around the tool.
What does "self-host" actually mean?
The same Azora codebase runs on your VPS. We provide a deploy script, schema migrations, and ongoing updates. You hold the database. You hold the encryption keys. We never see your data. Common reasons to self-host: data residency requirements, regulated industries with internal IT policies, or just preference. Available on Enterprise.
Is there a non-profit or academic discount?
Yes — 50% off Pro for verified non-profits, accredited academic institutions, and open-source projects. Contact us with your verification documents to apply.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your tenant is suspended immediately at end of billing period. Data is retained for 30 days in case of reactivation. After 30 days, the tenant row is deleted with ON DELETE CASCADE — every record carrying your account_id is purged in the same transaction. Tenant data export is available on request today (we run it for you); self-service CSV-per-table export ships Q3 2026.
Can I pay annually with an invoice?
Annual billing and invoiced billing ship Q3 2026 alongside SSO/SAML. Contact us if you need a custom arrangement during open beta.
Why is your pricing so much simpler than competitors'?
Because complex pricing is for hiding things. Greenlight Guru charges $50k+/year. Jira plus the QMS plugins plus the time-tracking plugins plus the docs is easily $100/user/month before you've added a single integration. We're $39 with everything included. We can do this because Azora is one codebase, one database, one team — not eight acquired companies stitched together.
